Athlete Programs
Our athlete programs are available for FREE to athletes in North Dakota (ages 18+) through June 30, 2027 and for a fee otherwise.
Athletes finishing high school sport

RSN can be held in 1, 2, or 3 sessions, and how it is offered may depend upon timing and travel required. A description of each workshop (using the 3 session series) is below.
Workshop 1 (~2 hours)
Workshop 1 focuses on dealing with change, including common challenges people experience when they finish high school sport. Attendees will be taught evidence-based resilience skills that they can use in and out of sport.
Workshop 2 (~2 hours)
Workshop 2 focuses on effective sleep strategies and learning more about your athlete identity and how that will change throughout your sport career, including when you are done with high school sport.
Workshop 3 (~2 hours)
Workshop 3 focuses on understanding your sport career and helping you plan for the next stage of your life (with or without competitive sport).

Athletes transitioning to collegiate sport

RSN can be held in 1, 2, or 3 sessions, and how it is offered may depend upon timing and travel required. A description of each workshop (using the 3 session series) is below.
Workshop 1 (~2 hours)
Workshop 1 focuses on dealing with change, including common challenges hockey players experience while playing Juniors. . Athletes will be taught evidence-based resilience skills that they can use in and out of sport.
Workshop 2 (~2 hours)
Workshop 2 focuses on effective sleep strategies and learning more about your athlete identity including how that will change throughout your hockey career, including when you are done with hockey.
Workshop 3 (~2 hours)
Workshop 3 focuses on understanding your hockey career and helping you plan for the next stage of your life (with or without competitive hockey).

Workshop 2 focuses on effective sleep strategies and learning more about your athlete identity and its changes throughout your career, including when you are finished with collegiate sport.
Workshop 3 (~2 hours)
Workshop 3 focuses on understanding your hockey career and helping you plan for the next stage of your life (with or without collegiate sport).

We offer this programming as part of new athlete orientation (transfers or freshman) to help them navigate joining their new team.

We offer this workshop series for collegiate student-athletes who are either nearing the end of their collegiate sport career or want to develop skills to deal with their sport ending ahead of time.

If you’re a collegiate student-athlete who would like to access the program on your own, we also offer this as an on-demand (recorded) course!
This course is FREE (through June 30, 2027) for any collegiate student-athlete in North Dakota (or who attended a North Dakota institution) or for a fee if you are outside of these parameters.
